An easy, fast, delicious meal to eat after bariatric surgery.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red-pepper flakes, or more to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound lean ground turkey
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

In a small bowl mix together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper and ginger. Set aside.
Over medium heat saute garlic in olive oil in a saucepan. Add turkey and brown (5-8 minutes). Add sauce and green onions. Remove from heat.
Portion out into 3 oz servings and garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy.

Soft:

Omit green onions. Consider eliminating honey to continue to help accelerate weight loss.

Regular:

Serve as is over cauliflower rice.
