Yummy Italian soup that can fit in at almost any stage after bariatric surgery. Plus something the whole family will enjoy.




  1. Heat 1 tsp of olive oil in instant pot and place on saute setting. Then add turkey, carrots, celery and Italian seasonings and saute until ground turkey is browned. About 10 min.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Place on lid and seal vent on pressure cooker. Change setting to “Manual” and cook on high for 15 min. If using slow cooker, cook for 3-4 hours on high.
  3. Slow release pressure cooker for 10 min. Once done cooking, remove lid and add beans to soups. Let sit for 5 min. Then serve.
  4. If blending, add mixture to blender and blend until smooth.
